Hello again...what about 'Ale Guli Mane' - this was a game which I used to play during my childhood and had a wooden board with 'n' number of pouches. We used to play this game with some kind of seeds in it. I know I sound very vague but maybe you can find out more info on this game...

Very interesting blog on such a unique topic. If I may add to your list, we (Enlighten Games) have recently come out with a game on Chanakya, the famous Indian economist. The game is called Chanakya's Chakkravyuh and its website is chanakyaschakkravyuh(dot)com. It focuses on creating passive income, and has various sutras from the Arthashastra used in the game.
Thought this might be interesting to all of you.
